Recently he served as President APPNA - CT chapter and continues to serve in advisory role .

Dr. Faisal Masud is a leading expert in critical care and anesthesiology, serving as the Medical Director of the Center for Critical Care at Houston Methodist Hospital and a Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College. He holds the Mary A. and M. Samuel Daffin, Sr. Centennial Chair in Anesthesia and Critical Care. Dr. Masud is dedicated to advancing patient care, education, and research in the field.

Graduate of the 26th batch from Rawalpindi Medical College (RMC), honored to have served as Student Sports Secretary and former Captain of the RMC Cricket Team. I love being a Hospitalist as our hospital is one of the best ones in Northern California and I get to practice medicine the way we have been taught in residency plus the fact that it gives me the flexibility I need being the mother of three young kids.

Dr. Rashid is a Pakistani-Canadian physician with a diverse medical background, having earned his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical University in Pakistan in 2006. He completed his internal medicine residency in Qatar and his family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa in 2017. In 2019, he became the inaugural chair of the first academic division of hospital medicine in Canada at Queen's Department of Family Medicine, also serving as the clinical director for the Complex Medical Program and Providence Transitional Care Centre. Recognized for his contributions, Dr. Rashid was awarded the College of Family Physicians of Canada's Annual Award of Excellence in 2022. He is passionate about medical education, interprofessional education, and collaborative practice, and earned his Master of Health Professions Education from Queen’s University in 2022.
