In 2007, Rawalpindi Medical College Overseas Foundation, Inc. (RMCOF) opened a state of the art Burn Center at Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

Mission Statement: “To provide optimal patient care through the skills of a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to burn care, from the time of injury until the patient is ready for returning to normal life.”

75% Burns occur in woman & children 50% of these burns are preventable 75 % mortality in burns is due to infection
